Kling 4.0 is the next video model in Kuaishou’s Kling family. Kling introduced it on September 28, 2026 for scenes that run longer, take more direction, and carry their own sound. The Topview page for the model is already up. The generate buttons on that page stay off until generation is actually available.
The controls Kling announced
Kling 4.0 AI Image Generator is the page that collects those controls. Kling describes a native clip of about 3 to 30 seconds in a single pass, so a scene can set up, turn, and finish without a stack of short fragments. Up to 10 keyframes can mark the moments the shot has to hit. One task can carry up to 15 references: as many as 10 images, 5 videos whose combined length stays inside 30 seconds, and 7 subjects. Voice references can ride with those subjects. Kling also describes editing a part of an existing shot, or extending it, from that same kind of input.
Picture, sound, and language
The announced picture ceiling is 4K. Ratios include 21:9, 16:9, 1:1, 9:16, or a smart frame. Stereo sound and more accurate lip sync are part of the announcement, along with multiple languages, accents, and dialects. Kling has named Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, and Hindi, plus accents such as American, British, and Indian English.
10-bit HDR on 1080p and 4K is marked coming soon. Longer extension, toward about two minutes, is marked coming soon. Prompts up to 8,000 tokens are marked coming soon as well. Those ceilings are Kling’s announcement. The Topview page confirms the live controls when generation opens.

When a render on this page can start
Kling says the full model is coming in October 2026 and has not published a day. Kling 4.0 Flash is already live for Kling Ultra Yearly subscribers on Kling’s own plan. Pricing on Topview is confirmed at launch. The examples on the page are clips Kling published with the September 28 release note: large motion, keyframe-led action, and dialogue with sound. Opening the link today reads the spec and plays those examples. A render from this page starts when the buttons are enabled.
